Philosophy

For us design is a way of thinking, a way of feeling, and a way of giving form to ideas that matter. Our work explores how materials, construction and emotion come together to create objects that are meaningful, sensitive, and deeply felt.

A Poetic and Intelligent Approach

I believe design should be both thoughtful and evocative, visually light, constructionally smart, and rooted in material intelligence. Rather than repeating established forms, I seek a contemporary language of shapes that challenges conventions through nuance and precision. In every project I study the behavior and logic of materials, particularly textiles, to uncover new ways of making, connecting traditional craft with industrial potential. Through this exploration, I reimagine familiar materials in unfamiliar contexts, allowing structure and process to unfold in unexpected ways.

The Human Touch

At the core of my work lies the human hand, not as a nostalgic gesture, but as a force of emotional depth and expressive clarity. Handcraft embeds personality, history, and narrative into an object, creating something beyond mere utility. Craftsmanship becomes a language that carries story and spirit. It connects us to the object, invites touch, and invites care, qualities that are essential when aesthetics meet life.

From Material to Meaning

Textile, surface, touch, these are not decorative afterthoughts, but carriers of emotional resonance. Ornament in my work is not applied; it emerges from pattern, sequence and structure, woven directly out of form. Here, pattern becomes both expression and logic. This way of working bridges utility and intimacy, creating products that are not only functional but sensorial, objects that feel alive in space and in lived experience.

Sustainable Through Value

Sustainability is not an add-on but a guiding principle woven into the fabric of design. For me, sustainability arises through value, and value is born from emotion. An object that carries emotional resonance becomes cherished. It is kept, cared for, handed down. In this way, sustainability becomes the natural outcome of value: a relationship between person and object that endures beyond trends. I design not only for form and function, but for connection, for longevity, significance, and a sense of belonging in a place.

Why I Design

I design furniture and objects because of the profound connection between environment and well-being. Beautiful things have the power to calm, to inspire, to transform our experience of space. A thoughtfully framed home, a place filled with objects that both comfort and excite, becomes the setting for a richer, more thoughtful life. Design, to me, is an act of care. It nurtures the senses, celebrates craft, and honors the stories objects carry. It is not just about what we make, but why we make it. Because a product that truly matters is more than an object. It is an invitation to feel.
